Different forms of Pollution abound and it is our job to not make matters worse and try and undo the damage done. Fortunately, we have a wealth of resources regarding Cleaning our Earth and how to manage the environment.

Let ‘Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle’ be our motto. We can all do our part to reduce waste by employing digital communications over hard copies, including invitations, receipts, notes, and files of all sorts, and employing double-sided printing over single-sided printing. Sustainable gifting through reusable products is also a great way to go. Imagine the difference we could make if we all took the time to return soft plastic to a recycling depot rather than throwing it all out. Not only will it save them from decomposing in a landfill, but it will also reuse petroleum-based products, thus reducing our need to extract them from the earth and convert them into plastics. Composting food scraps and taking care with proper recycling is an important step. Bringing your own metal straws, reusable cups to coffee shops, and your own containers for takeout and your own reusable water bottles will make a difference. It is great to see shoppers using their own reusable shopping bags becoming the norm. Spending a little more on organic food will not only help your body, but it will also help prevent the earth from being exposed to unwanted chemicals. Growing some of your own food and buying locally grown food translates into less travel involved in getting your food to the table.

See our page on Recycling for more on cleaning our earth and redirecting recyclables away from landfills.
